The Ministry of Health in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip puts the number of war deaths at 43,603

The health ministry in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip said on Sunday that at least 43,603 people had been killed in the more than 13-month war between Israel and Palestinian militants.

According to the ministry, the figure includes 51 deaths in the previous 24 hours. Additionally, 102,929 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the war began, when Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.
