Photo raises concerns for the health of a stranded NASA astronaut

An image of a stranded astronaut from space is sparking concern around the world. Astronaut Sunita Williams appeared noticeably gaunt and hollow-cheeked on board the International Space Station. Her eight-day mission with a fellow astronaut was extended for at least eight months due to a malfunction in the spacecraft carrying her home. Williams appears to be suffering from a phenomenon called “space face.” Inside Edition spoke to Dr. Sandra Stankovic, Professor of Space Medicine at Harvard.
