Trevor Lawrence is out, Mac Jones starts for Jaguars vs. Vikings

The Jaguars consider quarterback Trevor Lawrence questionable for today's game against the Vikings, but he will not play.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mac Jones will start for the Jaguars.

Lawrence's left shoulder injury is serious enough that he could also miss next week's game against the Lions and then rest the following bye week before returning to play.

Jones will make his first start for the Jaguars after playing in 42 games over three seasons with the Patriots.

The 6:2 Vikings are the 7-point favorites on the road against the 2:7 Jaguars.
