Man arrested after shooting his sister, officials say

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A man is facing charges after shooting his sister, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

Shortly after 5 a.m. Friday, Bluegrass 911 received a call about a 68-year-old woman who had been shot in Geneva Township.

Officers said they responded to the area of ​​Trusty Road and later arrested the victim's brother, 59-year-old Gary Campbell.

Campbell is charged with Assault 1st (Domestic Violence).

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, the victim is currently in critical but stable condition.
