Analyst Makes Bold Prediction for Pittsburgh Steelers “Russell Wilson Mania.”

PITTSBURGH – After a controversial quarterback change at the time, the Pittsburgh Steelers have found their quarterback in Russell Wilson. The Super Bowl champion quarterback has led the team to two wins in a row and faces a tough duel against the Washington Commanders.

NFL Network's Kyle Brandt believes the game won't be too close in favor of the Steelers.

On NFL Network's “Good Morning Football,” Brandt talked about how a win against a team that's over .500 would put Wilson's name at the top of the conversation around the league.

“I have a new developing story of the year. My prediction guys, come Monday morning the Russell Wilson Pittsburgh Steelers will be the number one seed in the NFL,” Brandt said. “Russell Wilson, who will lead the Steelers to a 3-0 lead as quarterback, continued to play brilliantly. He has a perfect passer rating in the fourth quarter. I didn't see that coming. You didn't see that coming. The only person in the world who saw this coming is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I like it when Pittsburgh goes on the road and gets Russell Wilson mania.”

Russell Wilson's “mania” may be far-fetched considering it would be only his third win with the team and expectations for him have been high throughout his career. However, a tough opponent for the Commanders could showcase parts of their game not seen this year and provide a refreshing tone for the Steelers' offense.

They haven't had a real positive view of the offense from the outside since the departure of Ben Roethlisberger and the addition of quarterbacks Wilson and Justin Fields. Those moves paid off, and now Wilson has a chance to prove he's still one of the best this week against the Commanders.
