President George W. Bush opens the Dallas Cowboys-Philadelphia Eagles game

play

There was a “W” for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

The “W” had nothing to do with the result of the game, but rather with the kickoff. Former President George W. Bush was at the 50-yard line before the game to conduct the coin toss.

Dallas won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball on the first possession of the game.

Bush lives on his ranch in Crawford, Texas, about 120 miles south of Dallas.

Remembering Fletcher Cox vs. President Bush

Former President Bush's presence at the Eagles-Cowboys game brought back memories of Bush's interaction with Eagles legend Fletcher Cox.
