Days after Raygun's retirement drama, Viral Break Dancer makes a surprise appearance at a famous pop singer's concert: “It's an honor to celebrate you”

Rachael “Raygun” Gunn had one of the most unique outings in Paris. While her breakdancing immediately went viral, it wasn't many of her skills that impressed fans. It was her lack of skills that caused her meme material to spread all over the internet. During her performance at the Olympics, Raygun performed some bizarre slides and kangaroo jumps. Such moves made fans hilarious and they soon started questioning the Australian dancer's credibility.

In a viral petition making the rounds on Change.org, internet users falsely claimed that they “established its own governing body” and manipulated the entire qualification process! Well, that certainly wasn't true. But the backlash didn't seem to affect the Australian dancer much. Instead, she challenged online trolls to prove themselves a better dancer than her.

Raygun also had an impressive prize money in store for the winner. And now she has caused a stir once again. This time with a surprise appearance at the Tones and I concert. In a recent Instagram upload of the popular Australian pop singer, Raygun was seen center stage, which was a big surprise. The Olympian soon started grooving and even performed her much-lauded kangaroo hop!

Tones and I supported the trolled breakdancer and wrote: “Raygun is the most beautiful, kind and fun-loving person I have ever met. It was an honor to celebrate you last night. Thank you for sharing the stage with me and putting smiles on so many faces. You always have a friend in me. Tones.” Well, this was certainly a feel-good moment for Raygun.

By the way, the controversy doesn't seem to end with Raygun. Shortly after her fiasco in Paris, Raygun announced that she was seemingly retiring. But much to the surprise of her fans, the Australian breakdancer later announced: “It's not me who's retiring, folks. It’s Ray Hadley!” There certainly seems to be a lot going on at the moment with the virus outbreak. Interestingly, she recently doubled down on her chances of appearing on a reality show as rumors about Raygun began to spread.

Explaining her decision not to venture into the realm of reality shows, the Olympian said: “As we have seen, I have a very memorable face. Some great memes have come out and I just don’t think reality TV is the place for me.” Instead, she now wants to focus on areas that can bring joy to people “Encourage people to be creative.” So it's obvious that Raygun has made a good name for herself, although not in the way she would have ideally wanted. Now it remains to be seen what will happen in the future.
