Police: Teen arrested after crashing into New Hampshire State Police cruiser during wild chase – Boston News, Weather, Sports

ASHLAND, NH (WHDH) – A 19-year-old is facing criminal charges after police say he crashed into several New Hampshire State Police patrol cars while attempting to evade a traffic stop Saturday evening.

Troopers attempting to stop a driver of a 2015 Ford Focus traveling at 104 mph on Interstate 93 around 7:45 p.m. reported that the driver, later identified as Jack Dobbins of Waterville Valley, did not stop , but turned off the light. According to state police, the drive continued at high speed.

A few minutes later, according to police, Dobbins entered a residential area in Holderness, made a U-turn and collided with a fully marked State Police cruiser, disabling him and putting the trooper and his K9 partner at risk of serious injury.

Over the next 45 minutes, according to state police, Dobbins continued to attempt to elude law enforcement and drove his vehicle toward a trooper who was in front of her patrol car.

He also reportedly attempted to hide his vehicle in various locations, including in a driveway where police surrounded him, and he crashed into a second State Police cruiser several times before becoming stuck.

Dobbins was arrested on charges of disobeying an officer, reckless driving, driving after revocation or suspension and multiple felony counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. A female passenger was briefly detained and later released without charge.

Dobbins, who was treated at the scene for minor injuries, refused bail and remains held at the Grafton County Correctional Facility.
