Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James largely played a secondary role to Anthony Davis in Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors, but when Davis left the game with an eye injury, the four-time NBA MVP took over the game.

James recorded his third triple-double of the season with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists, helping the Lakers to a 123-103 victory in front of their home fans at Crypto.com Arena. Davis had 22 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal before being ejected.

In addition to James' strong performance, Austin Reaves scored a game-high 27 points and six assists, while D'Angelo Russell added 15 points off the bench.

But the night belonged to James as fans were impressed by the 39-year-old's ability to take control of the game down the stretch:

LeBron records another triple-double!

The Lakers are certainly hoping Davis won't miss too much time, but they should take comfort in knowing that James can still dominate when needed.

Los Angeles (6-4) will look to keep the momentum going when it faces the Memphis Grizzlies (7-4) on Wednesday.
