Veterans Day Deals: See which companies are giving away free gifts

Businesses across the U.S. are thanking veterans for their service on Monday with free gifts and other exclusive offers.

Applebee's is honoring active military, veterans, reservists and National Guard members with a free Veterans Day entree. Those eligible can choose from seven dishes: Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne.

To redeem the promotion, customers must provide proof of performance. Proof of service may include: a U.S. Uniformed Service ID card, a retired U.S. Uniformed Service ID card, a current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization ID card, a photograph in uniform, wearing a uniform, DD214 and a certificate or praise.

Applebee's, IHOP and Red Robin are among the companies offering free gifts and exclusive promotions on Monday.

The restaurant has been running the promotion for 17 years and has served over 11.7 million free meals.

Applebee's is also giving those served a $5 Bounce Back Card that they can use for dine-in, to-go or delivery orders within a three-week window.

Johnny Rockets welcomes active military and veterans on Monday with a free Single Burger with the purchase of any drink or shake. Offer valid for guests dining on site and showing ID or wearing their military uniform.

California Pizza Kitchen celebrates U.S. veterans and active military with a free entree and drink from a prix-fixe menu. No purchase is necessary, but customers will be asked to show military ID.

The restaurant also gives veterans and military members a “Buy One Get One” coupon for any pizza, pasta or salad. The voucher can be redeemed from November 12th to November 25th.

IHOP is offering a free red, white and blueberry pancake combo on Veterans Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Offer valid for guests dining at participating restaurants and presenting military ID or proof of service.

Great Clips thanks veterans with a free haircut or free haircut card to use on a future visit. Non-military customers can also receive a free haircut card on Monday to give to a military member or veteran.

Chili's is giving away a free meal to veterans and active military on Monday. The promotion is available to customers who consume select items at participating locations. Customers can redeem the offer by presenting their military ID.

Veterans and active military members can enjoy a free burger and side at Red Robin on Veterans Day. The restaurant is giving away a free Red's Big Tavern burger and a bottomless side, including fries, chips, steamed broccoli or a side salad. Offer valid for guest guests who provide proof of service.

Veterans Day also offers exclusive offers year-round through the Red Robin Royal Military Program.

Non-military customers can give back by purchasing gift cards that will be donated to local veterans organizations.
