Man arrested for murder at Danville restaurant

DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) – Danville police have arrested a suspect in a homicide Saturday morning.

Khaleel Latwain Rodgers, Jr., 28, was arrested after surrendering on Sunday evening, November 10th. He is being held without bail in the Danville City Jail.

Rodgers is charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and reckless handling of a firearm after 33-year-old Damion Quayshaud Reed was shot at the Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge on Piney Forest Road.

According to police, two other people were injured in the incident.
