Mercer County woman charged in death of child case

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) – A Mercer County woman is behind bars after being charged in connection with the death of a child.

Robyn Lake Defibaugh, 27, was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of child neglect resulting in death.

Defibaugh is being held at the Southern Regional Jail under a $100,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Mercer County Magistrate Court.
