Richard Allen was found guilty of murdering two teenage girls in the Delphi murder trial

(Gray News) – Richard Allen has been found guilty of murdering two teenage girls who disappeared while hiking in Delphi, Indiana, according to Fox 59.

The verdict was read Monday afternoon after the jury deliberated for four days.

Allen, 52, was found guilty of two counts of murder and two additional counts of murder in the commission or attempted kidnapping in the killings of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14.

All face up to 130 years in prison.

The jury, made up of seven women and five men, began deliberating on Thursday afternoon and continued on Friday and over the weekend.

Jurors and their alternates were sequestered during the trial, which began Oct. 18 in the girls' hometown of Delphi, Indiana, where Allen also lived and worked.
