Nadeshot loses $230,000 in monthly Twitch earnings on stream

During a recent Twitch stream, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, former pro COD player and founder of 100 Thieves, accidentally revealed his one-month earnings on the platform. In a split-second slip, the popular founder and co-owner of the leading esports organization revealed that he earned a whopping $238,146 on Twitch in a single month.

That's a grand total of 399 hours of streams – the YouTuber has been running a non-stop subathon for basically the entire month, which seems to be the go-to spot for YouTubers looking to make big bucks these days.

Earn effortlessly

Nadeshot is a personable content creator with years of experience in the industry. From his beginnings as a professional Call of Duty player to the founding of 100 Thieves, he has gone from strength to strength over the past decade. His recent foray into streaming has been lucrative and he currently earns almost a quarter of a million dollars per month from Twitch.

With 399 hours of streaming in a 30-day window, the YouTuber has amassed 47,505 subscriptions and a total of 58 hours of commercial breaks. The majority of its revenue comes from gifted subscribers, with the second most important revenue category being advertising revenue.

Despite its success, Nadeshot does not attract a large audience. His latest series of streams peaked at around 18,800 viewers, leading many to question how much money some bigger YouTubers like Kai Cenat must be making on Twitch.

Cenat, one of the most watched streamers in the world, has a maximum concurrent viewership of around 170,000 users and gains tens of thousands of new followers per stream. He currently has an incredible 302,230 submarines, compared to Nadeshot's 45,761. I'm not good with numbers, but it's obvious that Cenat is doing something million dollars every month easily on Twitch.
