Person to be taken into custody in connection with the death of Sgt. Sarah Roque

Fort Leonard Wood officials said a person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the death of a sergeant.

They announced on their website that someone was in custody, but did not release the person's name.

Earlier Thursday, FLW officials announced that the death of Sgt. Sarah Roque was being investigated for murder.

U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Christopher Beck said Sgt. Roque's body was found in a dumpster on the base near the living quarters for single soldiers.
