🏈 Good morning to everyone, but especially to…

THE MIAMI DOLPHINS

The DolphinsAfter a 23:15 victory over the Rams, they are finally back on the winning list.

We got some insight into what Miami can do if its offense is successful Tua Tagovailoabut actually that's thanks to the defense. Miami…

  • dismissed Matthew Stafford four times – in his last two games he had not been dismissed at all
  • forced two turnovers
  • didn't allow a touchdown
  • Gave up just 70 yards rushing on 18 attempts (3.9 yards per carry)

Let's give credit Calais Campbell And Zach Seiler at the top and the Dolphins as a whole for not giving up during a pretty challenging season. Miami is now 3-6 with the robber And Patriots next up. I never want to jump to conclusions – this result could well be a one-off surprise – but Miami could even have an outside chance of getting back into the playoffs.

And perhaps most importantly, the Dolphins traded to Florida State It's the only football win this week.

THE LOS ANGELES RAMS

We'll be quick. This is the first time the Rams failed to score a touchdown in a home game against Stafford. An offensive line that had improved β€” and even got some key players back β€” struggled again. It was just bad all around.

After getting the season back on track with three straight wins, Los Angeles (4-5) took a significant step back, especially after NFC West rivals Arizona and San Francisco won. Four of the Rams' five losses this season have come on possession, and given the tough final stretch, those narrow margins pose a significant challenge.

🏈 Today's College Football Playoff series forecast plus updated CBS Sports 134

After five ranked teams – including two in the top five – were eliminated in Week 11, there will be plenty of chaos when the College Football Playoff brackets are revealed tonight. How far does Georgia fall? How much could Alabama and Ole Miss rise? What about No. 8 Indiana And No. 9 BYU? How much closer are No. 20 Colorado And the incredible Travis Hunter?

Brad Crawford answers these and other questions in his latest issue Bracket prediction. Some key takeaways:

  • Texas seeded No. 2β€œI'm predicting Texas to be the SEC champion for now because I believe (a) it has the best path to get into the game and (b) I like the way it can keep up with potential opponent Alabama. β€œ
  • Miami seeded number 3
  • Boise State seeded No. 4β€œPlanned Big 12 champion BYU in the top four will be replaced by Boise State this week. The Broncos will be 12-1 at best as Mountain West champions in a few weeks and are keeping a close eye on that.” army the rest of the way.”
  • Ole Miss in or out? To find out, you'll have to read.

That is fun. Remember, one CFP spot is reserved for the top-ranked Group of Five conference champion, and the top four-ranked conference champions receive a top-four CFP spot. Could the Broncos really get past BYU? That would take things to a whole new level of insanity.

Boise State trails BYU in both areas CBS Sports 134 And Brandon Marcello's power rankings. But no team fell further in Brandon's eyes than Miami. The Hurricanes moved from fourth to 16th.

  • Marcello: β€œThe Hurricanes rely too much on the quarterback Cam Ward to pull them out of the dirt, and even though he's incredible and has the Heisman Trophy in his consideration, he can't do that every week. The whole matters more than the parts, and the Hurricanes deserve a precipitous fall from the top four after tempting fate so many times this season only to ultimately lose to unranked teams Georgia Tech.”

The Champions Classic remains the event Early November in men's college basketball. When Kansas, Michigan State, Duke And Kentucky When it's all in one arena, it's not only a great night for college players, but also for NBA scouts and fans.

This year is no different, but it's a little one-sided. Duke has Each of the top four NBA prospects in action according to Kyle Boone tonight in Atlanta.

  1. F Cooper Flag (Contender Rank: 1) – Only 17 years old, he's already one of the most impactful defensive talents in college… At 6-foot-10, he has guard-like versatility in his approach , how he can score, and he plays with an anticipation and understanding of the game that is wise beyond his years.” (Now he can solve his spasmodic problems?)
  2. G Kon stick (Contender Rank: 10) – He is a skilled player who can shoot at a high level, and his well-honed skillset should allow him to continue to perform at a high level as a scorer inside and outside the arc.”
  3. G Isaiah Evans (Prospect rank: 16) – Tβ€œThe former five-star recruit meets all the criteria that NBA teams currently covet as a combo forward at the next level due to his size, length and shooting ability.”
  4. C Khaman Maluach (Contender Rank: 23) – He's an absolute talent who only started playing at age 13 and only recently turned 18, but his size and shot-blocking ability are building blocks for him to become a potential lottery pick.”

It's always fun to look forward to the next level, but let's also appreciate these games in the here and now. Duke has a lot of talent, though it does that too Kentucky. Kansas is the No. 1 team in the country but will surely do so Take a rigorous test out of Tom Izzois Spartans.

The Chiba Lotte Marines post As Roki Sasaki For MLB considerations is opened what will be a extremely competitive free agency. One reason it will be extremely competitive is that he is only 23 years old, so he is only 23 years old Eligible to receive funds from teams' international free agency pool; MLB considers international league players under 25 amateurs.

The other reason is that Sasaki is really, really good. He had a 2.02 ERA with the Marines. In 2022, he threw a 19-strikeout shutout. β€œHe can fairly be described as the most talented pitcher not yet employed by one MLB organization or another.” RJ Anderson writes.

The Dodgers must address their rotationsays Matt Snyder and RJ explains why they are Favorites for Sasaki.

  • Anderson:The Dodgers are the choice for Sasaki if he wants to get paid as much as possible (at least this cycle); win a ring; and/or become the best version of yourself. Additionally, the Dodgers employ Shohei Ohtani And Yoshinobu Yamamototwo teammates from Sasaki's Team Japan, and have shown their willingness to add the necessary support staff.

But they exist lots of teams to monitor as well as four more international players who could make a big impact.
