Fatal accident snarls traffic on the 110 Freeway in downtown LA – NBC Los Angeles

A fatal multi-car crash snarls traffic on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Tuesday.

The incident was reported around 5 a.m. in the northbound lane of the 110 Freeway.

Images from Newschopper 4 showed a long line of cars waiting to reach the only clear lane.

Drivers can use the 101 and 10 highways as alternate routes to avoid traffic jams.

It was not clear when additional lanes would open.
