Several arrested in Tampa after FHP's planned road takeover fails – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

TAMPA, FL. (WSVN) – Several people were arrested in Tampa after police raided a planned street takeover last weekend.

Authorities were notified of the takeover and went to several locations to order closures.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the event was stopped long before any street racing or dangerous driving occurred.

Four drivers are charged with a crime.
