Chelsea 4-1 Panathinaikos (Oct 24, 2024) Match analysis

João Félix scored twice in Chelsea's Conference League game against Panathinaikos.

Chelsea continued their unbeaten run in the Conference League as João Félix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku all scored in a 4-1 win over Panathinaikos.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's cross landed on Félix's left before the Portuguese striker headed the ball to Mudryk, buying himself time to get into position to find the back of the net in the 22nd minute.

The connection between Mudryk and Felix didn't just last in the first half, after Panathinaikos lost the ball deep in their own half and the Ukraine international crossed to Félix as the striker scored Chelsea's third goal of the night in the 55th minute.

Between the two assists, Mudryk scored himself a goal in the 48th minute after repelling a cross from Pedro Neto.

A handball in the 59th minute cost Panathinaikos a four-goal deficit as Nkunku converted a penalty in the bottom left corner.

However, Chelsea failed to keep a clean sheet as Panathinaikos' Facundo Pellistri scored the winning goal for the home team.
