Road rage incident in Sioux Falls ends in gunshots

SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls police are searching for a suspect who shot at another driver Sunday evening.

Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said the incident occurred in the area of ​​57th Street and Veterans Parkway just after 8 p.m.

“From the information we have so far, it appears this was a road rage incident and a person in a gray pickup truck fired a gun at another person. “This happened while driving,” said Clemens.

Clemens said the other vehicle was struck multiple times, but the driver was not injured.

The suspect in the gray pickup truck has not yet been identified.

Clemens said police are unsure of the events that led to the incident.

“The victim had said that someone might have cut someone else off, but that was pretty sketchy details,” Clemens said.

It does not appear that the victim knew the suspect.
