NBA star contacts Kyle Singler after Instagram video concerns him

Former Duke superstar Kyle Singler made a frightening social media post about his mental health, making frightening statements and expressing general concern about his well-being.

Following the post, NBA star Kevin Love took to Instagram to express his support. Singler's first post can be read as a cry for help. Now Blue Devils fans are worried about him and hoping he gets the help he needs.

Singler was a four-year starter at Duke and won the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player award in 2010 en route to a championship. He's popular and one of the best Blue Devils in recent memory, which shows that not even the most successful among us are immune to serious mental health issues.

During Singler's original post, he stated that he wanted to make an announcement, suggesting that his voice would be “silenced.” The 36-year-old claimed he was abused, abused and neglected while also shedding light on his mental health issues.

Singler said he fears for his life every day, to which Love replied, “I love you, Kyle. Hit me whenever. Please.”

Love was a frequent advocate for mental health awareness in the latter stages of his career, speaking openly about his own struggles and inspiring other professional athletes to seek help and attention.

Although Singler has been out of the spotlight for some time, he is facing major issues that need to be addressed. He has the support of fans behind him, although it seems additional support is needed.

On behalf of the program and the fans, we wish Singler all the best and hope he can overcome this scary situation.
