Reckless endangerment incident in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFYR) – A 16-year-old from Jamestown is facing juvenile court on suspicion of reckless endangerment and discharging a weapon.

Jamestown police were dispatched to the 700 block of 14th Street Northeast around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, the victim reported hearing a gunshot and a bullet going through her floor and into her patio door.

After investigating, police determined that a 16-year-old was holding a gun on the floor below her when the shot went off. No one was injured and this is not related to the incident on Monday evening.
