Man gets prison and probation for death of Columbus woman

FULLERTON, Neb. (KSNB) – A Genoa man has been sentenced to prison, a fine and probation for his role in the drunk driving death of a Columbus woman.

Court records show 19-year-old Nathan Moseley was convicted in July of involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence.

On November 8, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail, a $500 fine and five years probation.

The Nance County Sheriff said Moseley was driving a vehicle with six passengers in the early morning hours of Dec. 2, 2023, when the vehicle rolled. The accident occurred on 470th Avenue in rural Nance County. Roxana Corona, 25, later died from her injuries. Moseley and the other four passengers were treated at area hospitals.

Court documents show his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
