Olivia Munn randomly tests John Mulaney for drugs after a mini-intervention

Olivia Munn And John Mulaney have their routine under control.

The couple – who have a son together Malcolm2, and My June2 months – recently spoke candidly about John's addiction history, shedding light on how it affected the start of their relationship and the steps they are taking to keep him on track.

For Olivia — who said she and John “barely knew each other” when she became pregnant with Malcolm in 2021, shortly after he finished his second stint in rehab — she had to navigate the sobriety journey of someone she had just met know, but with whom her life would forever be linked.

“I was watching someone newly sober on the edge of a cliff,” she said in an interview with the couple GQpublished on November 12, in which she noted that John admitted to her that he feared he would relapse. “And I didn’t know him well enough to help him.”

But his worries were never about the baby they were expecting together. “That's the only thing that made him seem light and happy,” she added. “I remember him being very excited to tell his parents.”
