The crash causes a power outage, temporarily paralyzing Navco and McVay

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The roads are back open after an accident at Navco Road and McVay Drive this afternoon.

Mobile police said the car sped through the intersection, lost control, hit a utility pole and overturned.

Alabama Power was on scene working to repair the utility pole.

Due to the accident, the roads were closed for some time.
