Drug Raid: Michigan State Police find alligator, heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine in a raid near Detroit, MI

DETROIT (WLS) – Michigan State Police found a surprise guest during a drug raid near Detroit.

Investigators found a brown alligator while executing a search warrant on Tuesday.

They also seized heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and various pills.

Nine firearms were also found in the house.

The alligator was surrendered to a local animal shelter.
