1 dead, several injured in chain crash on I-20 in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas – At least one person was killed in a Fort Worth accident involving an 18-wheeler.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Tuesday on I-20, east of I-35, in south Fort Worth.

It forced the closure of all westbound lanes.

According to Fort Worth police, an 18-wheeler came to a stop in traffic and a chain reaction accident occurred.

At least four vehicles were involved and one person was killed.

MedStar reports that at least three other people were injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
