WWE Executive Kevin Nash Said: “F*ck, Without A Doubt” 1992 WCW was a bigger threat to WWE than AEW

Kevin Nash believes that WCW posed a bigger threat to WWE in 1992 than AEW does today.

In 1992, WCW wasn't always known for the highest quality pro wrestling television. While it had fun acts like Sting, The Dangerous Alliance and Flyin' Brian Pillman, it also lacked Ric Flair and attempts at character creation through silly acts like Vinnie Vegas. The man who once portrayed Vinnie Vegas says WCW, in its state of chaos in 1992, posed a greater threat to WWE than AEW does today.

WWE NXT takes place on December 17th in Lowell, MA

On the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash discussed TKO Group Holdings' latest earnings report. He went on to say that he told an executive his opinion about 1992 WCW compared to today's AEW and that the unnamed executive fully agreed.

“I spoke to a very, very senior WWE person, yes [Sean Oliver asked if he meant executive]and I won't reveal his name. But I said to him, “I actually think WCW was a bigger threat to WWE than AEW right now in 1992, and he said, 'Shit, without a doubt.'”
