Salisbury woman wins $100,000 on scratch-off ticket. Where she bought the ticket

A Salisbury woman recently won big at the Maryland lottery when she discovered the first grand prize of $100,000 Snowflake Tripler Rub.

The big winner bought four Snowflake Tripler Instant tickets purchased and taken home at a Shore Stop store in Salisbury, Maryland Lottery said in a news release.

The Wicomico County resident then began scratching them off while watching television. The first three scratch cards weren't winners, but then she saw that she had picked a winning number on the last line of the last instant ticket, the release said.

“I couldn't believe it. The most money I ever won was $200. That was crazy,” the Eastern Shore player said. She revealed the winning number 13 and on the fifth row of her ticket was a 13 with a prize of $100,000.

The big winner wants to use the lottery winnings to buy a car and a surprise gift

The woman plans to use her new fortune to buy a car and will surprise her daughter with a gift during the holidays, the statement said. The winning ticket was sold by the Shore Stop at 1140 Parsons Road in Salisbury. For selling the highest-priced scratch-off ticket, the Wicomico County business will receive a $1,000 bonus.

Snowflake Tripler is one of six Maryland Lottery holiday scratch-off tickets that went on sale Oct. 21, with three more added this month QUICK GAME Holiday games. Four of them Snowflake Tripler The game's $100,000 prizes, as well as 31 of 33 second tier $10,000 prizes, are now unclaimed.

The jackpot now rises to $103 million in Monday night's drawing, with an estimated cash option of $48.6 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot reaches $361 million

The winning numbers in Friday's Mega Millions drawing were 25-28-42-64-69, Mega Ball 19, Megaplier 3X.

The jackpot now rises to $361 million for Tuesday night's drawing, with an estimated cash option of $169.2 million.
