Several tips lead to the arrest of a man accused of stealing from a local car dealership

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is in jail after police said he stole from a local car dealership.

The owners of Express Motors released several images of a suspect stealing a briefcase.

According to Evansville police, several people online identified the suspect as 49-year-old Glenn Holmes.

We were told there were over 100 car titles, car keys and a laptop in the briefcase.

Security video shows Holmes walking through the dealership for several minutes before accepting the briefcase.

The owners say they have since gotten it back, but the laptop was gone.

Holmes is charged with theft.
