Elderly Mississippi man charged with first-degree murder

OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) – An elderly man in Oxford, Mississippi has been charged with first-degree murder.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unknown person suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the person died.

Now 89-year-old Herman Slack has been arrested and charged with murder.
