ACSO responds to an incident near the Wilson School Complex

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – The Augusta County Sheriff's Office is responding to an incident on Jefferson Highway involving someone in crisis who may be in possession of a firearm.

According to ACSO, schools in the Wilson School Complex have been placed on “Safe” out of an abundance of caution.

There is currently a heavy police presence in this area.
