All northbound lanes on the NJ Turnpike are closed following the crash – NBC10 Philadelphia

All northbound lanes on the New Jersey Turnpike are closed following a crash Wednesday, officials said.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Nov. 13 south of Interchange 3 – NJ 168 to Runnemede, the highway department said.

According to officials, there were injuries in the accident. Emergency services are on site and are helping those involved.

The right shoulder and all lanes on the north side of the highway are closed.

SkyForce10 was over the scene shortly before 2 p.m., where several crew members could be seen along the shoulder along with military personnel in uniform.

There was also a white coach and a semi-trailer on the side of the road that had visible damage to the front end.

A person in uniform was seen being taken away on a stretcher.

Traffic came to a standstill at least a mile past the crash site.
