Galaxy S25 Ultra: Leak reveals new design with rounded corners

We're still about two months away from Samsung's annual Unpacked event, where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series. The event is expected to take place in the second week of January and in the meantime, new leaks provide a first look at the new flagship model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Images published by Technizo Concept on X show a softer, rounder design, in contrast to the sharp, angular corners that characterized previous Ultra models.

The new design bears some resemblance to the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung's last Note model. However, despite the rounded design, the edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra remain flat, with only the corners being slightly rounded to improve grip. Compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the S25 Ultra will be slightly taller, narrower and thinner. Additional renders show what the phone will look like in the four expected titanium colors: black, blue, gray and silver.

In addition to the new design, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. According to the leak, there will be a version of the device with 16 GB of RAM. Famous leaker Ice Universe claims that the new Galaxy S25 Ultra's display will see further improvements in terms of viewing angles, brightness and color accuracy.

Additionally, Samsung may continue to use the same type of display as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, even for the base models, which will receive their first significant improvement in display quality.
