Bob Lee murder trial: Nima Momeni, accused of stabbing and killing CashApp founder, to take the stand

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The man on trial for the murder of CashApp founder Bob Lee presented his defense on Wednesday. Nima Momeni is accused of stabbing and killing Lee in the early morning hours of April 4, 2023 in San Francisco.

It is the fifth week of testimony in the case.

His sister, Khazar Momeni, completed her testimony on the witness stand last week.

Prosecutors spent much of the day trying to discredit Khazar Momeni, their own witness, by questioning inconsistencies between her answers and their answers to Nima Momeni's defense attorney.
