'Doctor Odyssey' Premiere Reaches 16 Million Viewers in 35 Days; '9-1-1' Season 8 Debuts Up 156%

Exclusive: ABC definitely has a lot going for it as Ryan Murphy continues to be a guarantor for the network's fall slate.

According to Disney, the premiere of Ryan Murphy's medical cruise drama drew 16.5 million viewers across platforms in the 35 days since it aired. This includes the original show airing on ABC, as well as linear encores, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.

The episode has a 299% increase in live + same day viewership of 4.13 million viewers.

Growth definitely slowed over the month, considering the premiere reached nearly 14 million viewers in its first week alone, but that's quite typical. This still suggests that Doctor Odyssey will continue to attract an even larger audience as the first season progresses.

That's not the only one of Murphy's shows that's off to a strong start on ABC this season. Even in its eighth season, 9-1-1 continues to delight an impressive audience.
