In recent months, Coughlan and Dunn have sparked romance rumors after being spotted together on multiple occasions. The two appeared happy together at the All Points East music festival in London in August.

When Bridgerton After Season 3 was released in May, fans of the Netflix period drama speculated that Coughlan and her co-star Luke Newton were romantically involved after they were seen holding hands at the show's opening event in Australia.

Despite the relationship hype, a source close to the actors told PEOPLE that the two are “just friends.” The insider said that Coughlan and Newton are “supportive co-stars” but “they are not dating.”

The third part of the Netflix hit revolved around Coughlan's Penelope Featherington and Newton's Colin Bridgerton. Penelope, who has long been fixated on Colin, begins to take the marriage market seriously and leaves her fantasies of ending up with him behind. Colin eventually agrees to help her in her search, but he has mixed feelings about the prospect of her marrying someone else.

“We were thinking between scenes and they said, 'Do you want to get up and get dressed?' We're like, 'We're just going to relax here.'” “Like under the covers,” Coughlan said of filming nude scenes during an interview on SiriusXM Hits 1 in April. “But then we have the advantage of having known each other for years.”
