Queen City men arrested after targeted shoplifting: Salem Log

SALEM, NH – Nathan Chean, 23, of Westford Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on October 22, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. He was arrested after a car reportedly crashed into a pillar on Pleasant Street. Fire and rescue services were called in after it was reported that the driver had suffered a head injury. Chean was arrested and released on personal recognizance.

Casey Goodrich, 30, of an unknown address in Manchester, was arrested at 9:07 p.m. Oct. 22 on a warrant and also charges of theft of property valued at more than $1,501, possession of a controlled drug, driving after revocation or suspension , and two charges of possession of prescription drugs. Also arrested were Brandon S. Ross, 34, of Tarrytown Road, Manchester, on a warrant and Timothy J. Maclean, 43, of Mast Road, Manchester, on charges of possession of a controlled drug and willful concealment, a felony, on two incidents of conviction. Police were dispatched to Target on South Broadway for a report of a known shoplifter at the store. The man reportedly left the goods behind and walked away from the scene. Police were with the man and three other people who were accused of being in a vehicle stolen from Nashua. Three people were arrested and taken to the district. One person was also taken to Exeter Hospital.

Daren Andrew Wedge, 35, of North Policy Street in Salem, on Oct. 22 at 6:36 p.m. for making criminal threats. Police were dispatched to a domestic incident between two family members on North Policy Street. According to police, one accused the other of threatening to burn down the house with everyone inside while he was heavily intoxicated. Wedge was arrested, released on his own recognizance and placed in protective custody.

Manuel A. Elias, 53, of Harbor Street in Salem, MA, was arrested on October 22 at 2:21 p.m. on three counts of felony sale of methamphetamine and three counts of felony sale of cocaine, all felonies. He was arrested on a warrant and released on personal recognizance.

Joseph Ditullio, 35, of Green Street in Reading, MA, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. on October 22nd on a warrant and felony bail jumping charge. He was arrested at Lawrence MA District Court and arrested on a Salem warrant and an electronic arrest warrant.

Jordan Edward Pasternak, 22, of Longwood Avenue in Holyoke, MA, was arrested on October 21 at 7:13 p.m. for Domestic Violence – Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest or Detention. Police were dispatched to Klemms Mobil on Pleasant Street for a report of a fight between a man and a woman. According to police, both then fled the area on foot. Officers spoke with both parties and the man was arrested. According to the police, fire and rescue services were called in because the man hit his head against the rear of the patrol car. He was then taken to hospital.

Joseph Abbott Chatman, 40, of Hingston Circle in Braintree, MA, was arrested on October 21 at 3:05 p.m. on charges of making a false report to law enforcement and charges of willful concealment. He was arrested following an incident at Macy's in Rockingham Park Mall. He was subsequently released on personal recognizance.

Erika Anne McNally, 33, of Burnham Road in Andover, MA, was arrested on October 21 at 1:24 p.m. on a warrant and bail jumping charge. She was arrested on a warrant and an electronic warrant in the amount of $1,000.
