SB I-75 closed at Norwood Lateral due to serious accident

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — Interstate 75 southbound is closed at Norwood Lateral due to a serious crash early Friday, according to Cincinnati police.

Drivers are advised to detour via I-275 or Ronald Reagan Highway to southbound I-71.

The accident was reported after 1 a.m. near the Mitchell Avenue exit.

According to police, at least four people have been trapped in two vehicles and three ambulances have been sent to the scene.

It's unclear how long the highway will be closed, police say.
