Video: Yooka-Replaylee Side-by-Side Graphics Comparison (Original and Remaster)

I hate that we're at a point where we're expected (maybe “encouraged” is a better word, I know we have a choice) to buy a 7 year old game again.

It looks better (but I agree, the brightness seems like something to dislike compared to the darker original look) but that shouldn't justify a re-release. I suspect that Playtonic probably needs some money to make the real sequel and that's exactly what it's about. But it's hard to understand who this is for – if you liked the original, do you really need to buy it again with slightly nicer graphics? And if not, do you really think that this will suddenly fix the problem and make it a good game now?
