“Olivia’s courage to tell her story is deeply moving and we are honored to amplify her voice this Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said the co-founder and chief creative officer of SKIMS, according to ABC. “Partnering with her and Susan G. Komen allows SKIMS to strengthen our commitment to inclusivity and supporting all.”

From October 23rd to 31st, SKIMS will donate 10% of the retail price of every bra (excluding bralettes) sold at SKIMS stores and on Skims.com in the US to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

“Someone said that sentence to me and it meant a lot to me and really touched me,” Munn said of the breast cancer diagnosis. “When it comes to breast cancer, it's like, 'Welcome to the worst club with the best members.'”

After surviving cancer, Munn shared that she viewed her scars as a sign of her strength.

“When I look at the scars or how my breasts look different or how clothes fit me differently, I feel a lot of gratitude,” she said, promoting the SKIMS campaign. “The way my body looks is just a reflection of how hard I fought.”

The campaign, unveiled on Wednesday, October 23, marks the first time Munn has publicly shown her surgical scars since her double mastectomy. In the photos, Munn models SKIMS' signature bras and shapewear, including the Ultimate Nipple Bra in Clay, the Ultimate Teardrop Push-Up Bra in Sienna, the Multi-Way Bra in Onyx and the Back Smoothing Brief Bodysuit in Onyx.

During a live interview with Savannah Guthrie on the Today show from Los Angeles, Munn revealed that she hadn't originally planned to show her scars.

“When SKIMS approached me to do this campaign, it was just about doing their shapewear and their new leggings, and it wasn't about my scar at all,” she said on the “Today” show.

“We were in the middle of the shoot and we were doing an outfit change so I could see more of my scars and the makeup artist was touching up my scars and we got to my double mastectomy scars and they were really hard to cover up .” And then I looked in the mirror and just thought, 'I'm tired of being insecure about my scars.'”
