Merrill and Bank of America employees raise funds to fight breast cancer; Lighthouse relocates Clarkston area pantry – The Oakland Press

Teammates from Merrill Wealth Management and Bank of America, including metro Detroit employees, are using the power of wearing pink to raise funds to fight breast cancer.

The Merrill Wears Pink campaign encourages Merrill and Bank of America team members to wear pink garments and pins to the office during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to commit to raising funds to support the efforts American Cancer Society to support the fight against breast cancer. according to a press release.

Merrill private wealth advisor Tom Pursel, based in Bloomfield Hills, launched the campaign in 2018. Since then, employees have raised $680,000. Pursel said a goal for the 2024 campaign is to reach $1 million in total funds raised.

Additionally, Bank of America matches employee donations to eligible charitable organizations through the Bank of America Charitable Foundation Matching Gifts Program.
