The death of an inmate is under investigation at the Lebanon Correctional Facility

TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) – The death of an inmate at a state prison in Warren County is under investigation, the coroner confirms.

According to Dr. Russell Uptegrove's body was found around 6:15 a.m. Monday in his cell at the Lebanon Correctional Institution on Ohio 63 in Turtlecreek Township, east of Interstate 71.

There were no obvious signs of death and an autopsy would be performed, he said.

Further details, including the man's name and age, are being withheld until the man's next of kin are notified, according to the coroner.
