How to watch and stream World Series Game 1: Dodgers vs. Yankees

The 2024 World Series showdown between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees begins Friday – a clash between two coasts and two squads of high-profile players.

The matchup features the titans of the National League and American League in 2024, as well as Major League Baseball's most talented players in two legendary franchises with historic baseball legacies.

It will be the 12th time these teams have met in the World Series, more than any other team in the league. It will also be the first Fall Classic appearance for two former MVP winners who are considered favorites to win again: Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers.

New York and Los Angeles are the two largest markets in the MLB, and the Yankees and Dodgers entered the season with the second- and fifth-highest salaries in the sport, respectively.

Game 1 will be played on Friday at 8:08 p.m. ET/5:08 p.m. PT at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. All other games will also begin at this time and will be broadcast on Fox.
