Lil Durk arrested for murder of Quando Rondo's cousin

Lil Durk was arrested for his alleged involvement in a 2022 murder. The Chicago rapper, born Durk Banks, was indicted by U.S. Marshals in Broward County, Florida, and is being held without bail on a murder-for-hire charge. Rolling Stone reported. Prior to Durk's arrest, five members of his group OTF were also arrested in Los Angeles on various murder charges, according to Chicago tribune, including Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey and Asa Houston. The charges stem from the 2022 murder of rapper Quando Rondo's cousin Lul Pab, born Saviay'a Robinson, at a West Hollywood gas station. Prosecutors allege the men were hired to kill Rondo, born Tyquian Terrel Bowman, for his alleged role in the killing of Chicago rapper King Von, an associate of Durk, in a 2020 shooting in Atlanta.

Durk, a Grammy winner, recently postponed his upcoming album. Deep thoughts. It was originally scheduled for release on October 18th before pushing the release back to November 22nd. It is now unclear whether the album will be released following his arrest. The rapper recently celebrated his record being “cleared and cleaned” in a tweet. “I am no longer a felon,” he wrote. “Who would have thought?”
