A Seneca Falls man was arrested after showing up at the victim's workplace in violation of a court order

According to police, a 33-year-old Seneca Falls man was arrested on Oct. 21 after violating a court order of protection.

Robert A. Bannan was taken into custody after being reported to the victim's workplace where he was unlawfully present despite seeing the protected party.

The incident violated a protective stay away order against him.

Bannan was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor. He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where he awaits arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
