Two men were arrested following Friday morning's drug bust in Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) – Two men were arrested following a drug bust in Findlay Friday morning.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Oct. 25, the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force and the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 320 block of E. Foulke Ave. in Findlay.

During the search, officers found the following:

  • Methamphetamine suspected
  • Fentanyl suspected
  • Prescription pills
  • Psilocybin (mushrooms)
  • Multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia

A 2012 Chevrolet Equinox was also seized.

Officials said after the search, they arrested two men and booked them both into the Hancock County Justice Center.

Andrew Nelson, 37, of Findlay, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, and Jesse Sleasman, 34, of Findlay, was arrested on an active warrant for failure to appear for obstructing official business.

Officials say additional drug trafficking and drug possession charges are expected following an investigation.
