Fort Worth ISD has launched a third-party investigation after students reportedly shouted racial slurs at a high school football game in September. The incident occurred during a game at Farrington Field involving North Side High School and Arlington Heights High School. Although the district conducted its own investigation, it was unable to identify the individuals responsible for the offensive comments.

The school board condemned the behavior and said those involved could face serious disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion. North Side cheerleaders were reportedly subjected to slurs and insults as they approached the Arlington Heights cheerleaders as part of a game day tradition. The incident has sparked backlash in the community, with county administrators expressing frustration at the lack of accountability and resolution.

In response to calls for action from parents and community leaders, Fort Worth ISD confirmed that the independent investigation is continuing to ensure transparency and fairness.
