Lakers' Guards vs. Bigs' practice drill goes viral after coach JJ Redick jumps onto the court

This is what the NBA season is all about in the age of social media. In a viral moment at Los Angeles Lakers practice, the team engaged in a spirited “Guards vs. Bigs” drill before the second game of the season. During the drill, the forwards and centers were challenged by the guards in one-on-one combat. The bigs were limited to two dribbles to get to the basket and attempt a shot, creating some unexpected – and competitive – matchups, even with head coach JJ Redick.

Big man Anthony Davis and guard Austin Reaves went head-to-head, each managing to score against the other in separate rounds. Jaxson Hayes successfully overwhelmed D'Angelo Russell's defense, but Russell later retaliated by fouling Hayes. Meanwhile, LeBron James didn't hold back against rookie Dalton Knecht and made a strong attack on the basket, allowing him to make an effortless layup.

However, LeBron, who is actually a big guy at 6'3″, proved to be tougher when he tried to compete against his son Bronny James. Bronny forced him to take three dribbles, which resulted in LeBron not being up to the challenge.

Then, you see, Coach Redick stepped in to show off some defensive skills and take on Hayes himself. Now JJ is only about a year older than LeBron and he walked onto the court like he was a kid again. Although Hayes managed to slip past him, Redick altered his shot just enough to force a miss, helping the Guards win the challenge.
