Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster: The Australian actor is reportedly dating a Broadway co-star

Insiders have since spoken to multiple media outlets about the stars, sources say Page Six The rumored couple are keeping their rumored romance a secret – despite spending “all their free time together.”

“They're a normal couple, they're just private,” an insider told the publication, adding that the two are “inseparable.”

The source claimed the couple were “sneaking around” to keep a low profile.

Foster is best known for her work on the Broadway stage, but has also appeared on the small screen.

She had lead roles in the comedy-drama series. Fools (2012-2013) and Younger (2015-2021), and appeared in three episodes of Flight of the Conchords in 2007.

She has twice won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, including for her Broadway performances Thoroughly modern Millie, Everything is possible, Fat, Little women, Shrek the musical, Violet, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber from Fleet StreetAnd The Music Man.

Sutton Foster appeared in Flight of the Conchords, a sitcom starring New Zealanders Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie and Rhys Darby.

At the time of writing, Jackman and Foster have not publicly addressed the rumors about their alleged relationship.

An insider had previously told it Page Six that Jackman and Foster are “100%” a couple and “in love,” adding, “They…want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

According to another source, although the two are “trying very hard to hide it,” their romance is “common knowledge” in certain circles.

Reports about the relationship resurfaced a 2022 interview with Jackman in which he gushed about Foster.

“Sutton Foster is just a dream,” he said at the time, adding, “I've been lucky enough to make films and I've done a few plays, but there's nothing like a musical on Broadway.”

Both those wolverine star, 56, and the American actress have children with their former spouses. In 2017, Foster and Griffin adopted their now seven-year-old daughter Emily, while Jackman and Furness, 68, adopted Oscar, 24, in 2000 and Ava, 19, in 2005.

News of Jackman and Foster's alleged connection comes about a year after he and Furness announced their split, angering fans of Australian showbiz icons.

The two announced in a joint statement that they had decided to separate People on September 16, 2023.

“We were fortunate to spend nearly three decades as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the former couple told the outlet.

“Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to further our individual growth. Our family has always been and will be our top priority. We approach this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness.

“We thank you very much for your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”

An insider claimed shortly afterward that the split was “a long time coming,” claiming that there had been trouble in Paradise for some time – even before Jackman returned to perform on Broadway The Music Man.

“It happened some time ago. Friends and family knew about it,” the source said, adding, “Deb wasn’t there [The Music Man] Samples very much [and she] some were even seen snoozing.”

The insider added that there was no third party involved in the split, but said Jackman and Furness were living like “roommates.”

The former couple met on the set of a television series Correlli in her native Australia in 1995.

Earlier this year, Furness spoke candidly about her life after the highly publicized split and reflected on her new chapter as a single woman.

“[I learned] that I am strong and resilient,” revealed the actor People in May, admitting it had been a “year of development.”
